It is always a pleasure to visit Mocak – The Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków. I get my dose of modern art right here in the heart of Krakow, located at Kazimierz. Opened in 2011, the museum has quickly become one of the main attractions offering a wide range of artwork presented in various modes – sculptures, paintings, abstract artworks, photographs and video forms. There are permanent exhibits on display and also some on a temporary basis.
While scouting locations to shoot Mocak always comes to mind as it has a lot of space and the quality of lighting is always perfect, especially when the sun is out. As it was a warm day I decided to wear shorts and my favourite blue heels. The blouse is a satin blueish colour with a low neckline, I picked it up at H&M a while ago and have gotten quite some use out of it. For this day, I kept the makeup soft and neutral, a fresh look so to speak. We managed to take a couple of pictures inside the museum and then outside as the sun was about to set. Don’t mind my awkward posing, tried to be as natural as possible I hope you like the pictures 🙂 and do let me know if you have visited Mocak in Krakow, if so what are your thoughts about it?
Thanks for reading!
