Sweater Dress and High Knee’s!
Happy Friday everyone! I have to admit, I have had this dress in my cupboard for quite a while now. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it in a tiny store near the city centre. Moving to a cold country without adequate winter clothes seems unheard of but that was me, not sure of how severe the winter could be, never crossed my mind! Since moving to Krakow, I have had a tough time adjusting to the winter months. I hate putting on too many layers at times and at other moments I feel like a stuffed toy all sweaty and suffocated.
With this sweater dress, I have the same problem too. The sleeves are short capped and therefore when its too cold I have a problem with my arms if I don’t wear an additional sweater to cover my arms. I struggle with what to wear over it to keep my arms warm. The dress itself is thick knit and very warm. It pairs very well with some tights or leggings and knee-high boots or ankle boots too. The cowl neck allows to be bundled around the chest and neck and keeps me extra warm. The colour of the dress is a classic beige. It has a nice belt to cinch in at the waist.
I paired it up with a pair of nice knee-length boots and my new watch from Aldo India. This outfit is perfect for not so extremely cold days but just about keeps you warm for a stroll outside. The sun was out last weekend and my boyfriend and I decided to go for a walk to the Malopolskie Ogrod Sztuki- Center of Culture; where we stumbled upon some Chinese folks celebrating the Lunar New Year 😀
Hope you had a great week and see you on my next post!
