Never give up on your dreams! It has been a personal dream and wish of mine ever since moving to Europe to visit Paris, France. Of course, I want to visit other countries here too, but somehow Paris was always on top of my mind. I managed to go there recently and was not disappointed at all; it was truly a magical experience. Words cannot describe the feeling of finally visiting and seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time, the Louvre, Champs-Elysees, Arc-De-Triomphe.
I think part of the reason why I wanted to visit so bad was that I had many friends from France when I used to live in Bangalore. I was always intrigued by the French language. This interest goes back to my childhood too. Watching cartoons and reading books like The Adventures of Tin Tin, Asterix and Obelix, The Pink Panther, Pepe Le Pew (Looney Toones) to name a few. Then there are also the famous French songs which I remember was like an anthem in every French party – Champs Elysee’s and Voyage Voyage. Ask any French expat and I am sure they will know the lyrics to these songs.
I was there for 4 days during the weekend and had some outfits planned for this trip. It was the beginning of Autumn but took an extra warm coat for the evenings. The first evening it rained a lot and we, kind of got wet walking around but it did not bother us much. To be honest, travelling by Ryan air, restricts the number of clothing items you can take with you. Now when I do travel; I pre-plan in advance what I would like to take with me. Here are some of the pics of one of the outfits I wore during the day while walking around and being all touristy. The shirt is a famous Polish streetwear brand called Misbhv. It was a warm day, so I teamed up this T-shirt with a pleated green skirt which is one of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe. I love the colour and the material on it. Also wore this hat which I had purchased in France, close to Pompidou centre. The rest on another post to follow
